Hello guys im new at clickbank and most of the time I spend reading forums and learning more about it, today I can accross this: " I have XXXX Hops but still no conversion " What this means?! Also this: "I have xxxx hops for 1 keyword and converted 2" and about tracking... The aff link looks like this right: http://xxxxx.VendorsId.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=xxxx the tracking is the tid. But how to monitore this? and how does it helps me? Also saw some ppl talking about the tracking from google adwords, something that envolves a code and the vendor has to install it. please if someone can claer this for me ty!
If you go into Clickbank, then Reporting, then you can see all of that. How many hops you have and under what tracking IDs, sales, etc. Say you're direct linking on Adwords or something, which usually isn't a good idea, but just as an example, you'd have to make a new adgroup for each keyword and then have those keywords as your TID on that same adgroup. If that makes sense... it's a lot of work to do it manually but it's worth it.
A HOP means someone clicked on your link, which hopped them over to the publishers page. If they buy a product after clicking on you hoplink, you will get a commission. Someone saying I have XXXX Hops, but no conversions, means that XXXX number of people clicked on their hoplink, but no one purchased the offer. XXXX for 1 keyword and 2 converted means they bought adwords ads, and 2 out of XXXX people that clicked on the ads bought the offer. The tracking tid is helpful so you know from what link source you are getting sales. If you have articles at one site with 1 tid, and banner ads at another site with a different tid, you will be able to tell where you are getting your sales from, so you can concentrate on the profitable areas. Your job as an affiliate marketer is to get people to click on your hoplink(where ever it may be), and buy the offer on the publishers site.
Guys, Ty Alot! Really, this helped me Alot! Also, about this Adwords "script" that the vendor has to install(that you have to request him to setup it for ya), how does it works? Something like Adwords monitoring your conversions?
That is more of an intermediate to advanced tool. You probably want to get your feet wet, and figure out how to make some sales before you start worrying about setting up adwords conversion tracking. If you have the free time, I would start learning about article writing, it would be a good way to get started, then once you make money from that, start exploring adwords. Mistakes in article marketing = free. Mistakes in Adwords = $$$$$
K Cool, ty Man again Im thing of buying articles, $2,5 500 words... something like that... well who knows Im just not good at writing hehe, thx again bro
