Does anyone use SimpleMachienes? I find it to be one of the easiest to use/best free forums out there :) I've had great success with it...

I think all the forum designs have their good and bad sides.

I'm using it too. Check out this new forum.

SMF offers a wide variety of MODS and it has a strong support community.

I have used it for 2 of my past forums. I think they have some great mods and themes and the support forum is always helpful! :)

I've used it. For free software, it's decent (but doesn't beat vB!)

I have used it a few times and really have never begun to like it, I would never use it again for a forum until its very different than how it is now.

Ive used every mainstream free forum (and a few cracked ones that cost)

    I <3 SMF (1.1.4)

    See mine here > www.PsychedelicDeli.com

The coding can get a little haywire if you dont know what your doing, but other that that and downloading the right package versions, its great, best out of all of them.

I have recently installed it on my local server for a new forum I am currently cooking. I thank God I encountered problems downloading phpbb3 so I was forced to try SMF. It's great! I love how it's designed, it's very easy to customize. I am still filling sections to my forum and making graphics to replace some existing images or icons. I want to make it live soon on the web and would love to let you guys see the results! Actually SMF has been sitting on my computer for almost 2 years and it's only now that I've come to see its beauty. Really some things disguise themselves to be a blessing. Great job, SMF guys! :)
