At the present trend, Which one is better? Simple logo or heavy graphics logo.

I think corporates ask for simple logo..

2 color or less pictorial logo is also good and cheap for printing purposes..

But for website, some clients ask for logo with multi colors and multi-graphics.

Your question itself has the answer,

Corporate clients go with the simple logos, but when it comes to websites, clients ask for more colorful logos.

I personally like simple logos with two colors.

I personally like simple logos as they can be easily promoted both online and offline. (Easy for printing like you said).

The color also depends, but 2-3 different colors could suffice.

Simple logos. You don't need too many colors.

it depends on cost..if your company willing to spend a lot of money to promote your brand..so it has to be a simple logo..for an example..NOKIA,NIKE,don't you think the logo too simple right?:)

but they advertised their brand worldwide successfully involve a lot of money there..and now, people recognize their logo because it's so simple and easy to remember..

    that's my comment..thanks:)

I am more for complex logo's but then again I run a gaming orientated website, but for any of my other websites I have always used simpler logo's with two colors, and pretty much just text.

I am another fan of the more simplistic logos, for reasons already listed and just because. ;)

depends on the project :) if its a company website simple logo is a must, if its a gaming site it is more appealing with loaded graphics. You have to understand who ur visitor is and what they like... u get the idea ;)

As far as the trend goes, I cannot say. However, the term to shoot for may be "elegantly simple". The best logos vreate a brand identity, but do not distract from the overall message. The client is always right, but may need some gentle persuasion as to why an overly complex logo may not be the best bet.

I totally agree with M_Oksa. The logo needs to represent the company. Whatever logo gets that done will always be the best answer.
Don't forget that just because a logo is 2-3 colors does not mean it is 'simple' just look at any fortune 500 company's branding.

Depends mostly on the client. You should look for what works. If it need colors, you put in colors. There is no formula for a perfect logo. Depends in what you want to achieve with it and who or what does it represent. Some designers believe less is better, I believe it all depends.

If you're looking at trends, simplicity is now in. Graphics heavy doesn't work too well with branding, you want something clean, sharp and easy to remember.

Logos should always be simple, so that it can be applied on all types of media. Each extra color you add to a logo, difficulties in its application grow exponentially, especially in print media.

I would say that my taste varies from log to log. If it looks like what I want, then it's what I want. I don't categorize.

If you have logo with 3 color or more, it was harm you when you want to print it. E.g. t-shirt, call card, letter head and everythings. You need to spend a big money to pay all the stuff. More color, more money. It is costly.
