I run a website that sells shaving equipment/supplies. The name of the store is "The Shave Den". We sell the classic style stuff that's whipped up with a shaving brush, and used with a double edge, or straight razor. Currently, our largest label is a 3'' circle, but we also have a couple square ones. Larger is better, that way I can shrink the logo to fit all products. I've attached the font we use, and our mascot, but the label need not necessarily use either. The label should include our url somewhere... theshaveden.com The store is located here, and here's a link to our container and our current label. Our current label is silver foil, but we're more than willing to change everything to fit this logo. http://www.theshaveden.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=11
well don't be cause he didnt design that emblem nor his logo. anything about his designs is not unique... he's using pre made designs that can be found on warez forums.
i understand wat u r saying, but i did design that myself, i can modify it in anyway as the contest holder wants. Yes i know the warez thing ur talking abt and i did use the concept in that, but those r just raster images and cannot be modified. It is a unique logo. I have no problem if the OP doesn't wanna choose it
Well i did say that i used the same concept....and i redesigned it, cuz i only say a screenshot of it somewhere So yes i accept, its the design from there but thats just a flattened layer.
Here is what I have come up with so far, using your mascot and put it on a light gray background to simulate a silver label. It is vector and I can make it as large or as small as you like.
Lots of nice things so far. I think i'd like our url a bit more understated than what i've seen so far. Also, if any of you have some ideas that might help us look a bit less gender specific, that would be great. We started with the top hat guy, but later found out a good percentage of our members are women. You don't necessarily have to use our mascot, he could be replaced. I'm looking for a vintage look. Think of a medicine bottle label from the 1800's. Msi52- I see where you were going, but I just don't like the image, the round version could be pretty helpful though. Anidesign-I've seen something similar to this one somewhere, that kinda kills it for me. A4hire- It's looks really good, but not what i'm lookin for Campolar- If I were gonna use the top hat guy, i'd prefer it be the one we already have (getting away from it all together might be good). I don't care for the font.
Thanks for the feedback, I will try to work another design that is less gender specific, and still get that vintage look.
