simple google indexing question

    I have a website in a sub directory..its been a long time and google is not indexing this site....
    someone told me..websites in sub directories are not good, true?
    i tried sitemap..and everything was right..but still it says..robots.txt unreachable..where shud i place the sitemap?

    frustrated about these things..it looks like only the homepage is indexed and none else..

    help please....

    first of, websites in sub directories are websites.

    and for your problem with the indexing.... are there any links from other websites to yours? if so, just give it some time.
    also, work on obtaining more links from relevant websites.

    I think simply to index your sub directory website link it from another website

    I think that it is more than 3 links from an another website is enough for google to get indexed
