OVERVIEW: Using the design and structure at profitlots.com, build an ecommerce site with around 30 products (images and descriptions all ready). The main site should be wordpress - but the plugin could be one that you are familiar with - although we favour 'WP Online Store' which is OSCommerce as a wordpress plugin. The Sagepay plugin extension will have to be purchased separately after the right plugin has been determined. Most seem to prefer Jigoshop, but it's use of images is rigid and it didn't allow descriptions to be used with listings within categories. You may be able to get it to work in the required way. The purpose of this site is to have a cookie cutter structure to use with various products - initially to sell our range of chess computers, currently sold through chessbaron.co.uk. We'll use the same site created to sell chess clocks on another domain, then one for chess DVD's, then Books, etc. They'll all be Micro sites. YOUR EXPERIENCE: - You'll need to be expert with Wordpress and have developed several sites already using Wordpress for an ecommerce projects. - You'll be reliable, regular and honest. - You'll be available currently - not having to juggle other projects. DETAILS: - Customers will be invited to make an account - but they must not be forced to create it. - The example at profitlots.com uses the twentyeleven wp theme. This can be changed if required. - There are just 5 basic categories. I'll then add categories such as 'By Price' later - I'm moderately skilled at wordpress and have some familiarity with OSCommerce if that's the plugin chosen by you. - The display of products in categories should have product descriptions with them at that stage. - Each product will have it's owb individual product page. - Payment providers shall be Paypal and SagePay. - Minimise the number of checkout pages - just the address entry - one confirmation, then to the payment provider. - Customers need to be able to login and check the status of their package. - Each category and product page needs to be editable for meta data (title, keywords, description). I use dreamweaver, so you can just tell me where the page is, if it's not configurable through wordpress admin. - I need to see ongoing progress - I'd prefer that you develop to profitlots.com - it's a dummy domain just for development. No data needs backup - you can delete it all and start again if you want to. If you have your own domain that you prefer to develop to, that's OK - as long as I can see your progress. - You don't have to load all the products - just enough to show that it's working. I'll load the rest. - The end domain will not be profitlots.com - so all references need to be relative. - No SSL - we use SagePay form, and Paypal also doesn't need an SSL. - I have a high standard of code development. No messy code. Lot's of comments. Well structured. No duplicate code elements. - The system should be upgradeable both for the plugin and wordpress versions. PAYMENTS: - Stage 1: After I see something up and running with things happening - I'll pay 10% of the agreed price - Stage 2: After the basic design is approved and everything is working with images for some products and formats correct - I'll pay you 40% of the agreed price - Stage 3: After I've then loaded the remaining prducts and the system is working, sales able to be processed - I'll pay the remaining 50%
