Simple copy/paste work needed, regular work by the hour

Hi,

I'm looking for somebody to do some simple copying and pasting work from press release sites into some sites that I own. This will include copying and pasting text, downloading and uploading images, and other similar work, all of which is legal. You will need to have a basic English proficiency but perfect English is not required. The work will be related to video games but you don't have to know a lot about video games (though it is helpful).

I am looking to pay by the hour and the work will be regular, as much as 30 hours a month. I would expect you to work an hour a day on a regular basis though there is some flexibility.

As for pay, I am looking for somebody outside the United States as I am looking for a rate below the United States minimum wage.

I currently do this kind of work for a similar video game/ RPG site. I would be able to do this for 4.50 an hour. And I work fast and efficient. I assue you my work is grade A quality Would love to work on this project with you I am currently a Moderator of two sites. And would love to work on another one.

I guess your definition of "qualified" means that they have a pulse. Walking upright (on 2 legs not all 4) is a bonus. No plants need to apply.

Please keep all snide comments and flames to yourself. The two candidates I have are very well qualified. A dollar is worth more in some places than others which is why I'm looking outside the US for help on this project.

And furthermore, your comment about walking upright was a direct slam and insulting to the people who did respond. As I said, please keep worthless comments to yourself or PM them to me directly.

The people I am working with made an offer of what they were willing to work for. It is their choice to work at that wage and they can choose whether to continue or not of their own free will. And yes, immigrants make more than that here in the US too but it's all relative. Look at cost of living around the world and you'll realize that $2, while a pittance in England and the US and certainly not a high wage elsewhere can be comparable to a much higher amount in another country. And in many countries, i.e. China, a factory worker, working in unsafe, backbreaking conditions may only make a few dollars a day. I'm offering a job where they can work at their own leisure in the comfort of their own home doing safe and very simple work. I'm not some condescending benefactor but I'm not some evil opportunist either.

I don't think you get to dictate what type of opinions or responses you get on public accessable forums. When you do something unethical or immoral here you will probably get called on it.

What I'm doing is neither unethical or immoral. I posted a job offer asking people what they wanted to charge to perform a service. Several people wrote back and offered to do the work at various wages. How is that unethical or immoral? Giving people a chance to work at a job they choose at a rate they offered? One person was excited as this gave her the opportunity to work at home, a choice probably not too prevalent in her locale. That's called capitalism, not unethical. I have violated no laws and no morals and I don't appreciate being called either.

If it were not unethical there would not be laws against it. I assume you are in the US? If your neighbor offered to pay your eleven year old son 2 dollars to mow his three quarter acre yard you would probably look at it differently. It is taking advantage. And it cheapens this profession when we either take advantage of or accept it.
