    Hi Guy's,

Im looking for someone to create a very simple backend CMS system for some of my clients.

What im planning to do is skin a website for each artist, but have a very easy to use CMS in the backend for the artist to update their pages.

Im a web developer myself so im happy to sort out the front end etc.

Here is a great CMS, but its still a little too complex.

    http://codecanyon.net/item/dijitals-cms/102279

Im looking for something very similar to this, with the same functionality and features. On top of these standard features i want the following modules/plugins too.

    - Event listings
    - Youtube plugin for videos
    - Facebook plugin for showing their fanpage on their website
    - Flickr plugin for displaying latest photos
    - Mp3 player which the user can uploaded a number of mp3's then play in a flash player on the website.

Im happy for someone to take a look at the CMS i have mentioned above as i have purchased a copy of that. If you can simplify that system it would be great!

Please feel free to answer any questions. I would like to see example work please.

Special Note: Please read the brief fully as i dont want to have my time wasted.

    Regards

    Tom

    Hi mate,

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I have looked at Joomla and WordPress, but they are too complex for some of the artists im working with! I need it simple and i mean mega simple! lol

Im thinking a custom solution is going to be the way forward, that i can duplicate over and over again quickly

    Regards

    Tom

The system you purchased can be simplified. What is your budget?

    Hi mate,

It all depends on how long its going to take etc.

I have a copy of the script i have purchased. There are a few probs with it.

    1) The english is pretty bad
    2) Its not as easy as it could be

Im thinking as its 3/4 way there, its ideal to use as a foundation, but im open to suggestions.

    What price are you thinking?

I have built simple CMS systems in the past, and could modify this script for you.

Could you elaborate on the "not as easy as it could be" part?

Are there simple features missing, or do you want features taken out?

What is your budget to modify? I couldn't give you a quote to modify until I knew what needed done and got to look at the source code.

    Thanks.

    Hi mate,

Yeah i just want the site admin to be mega easy to use. Im dealing with artists so some of them are not the brightest spark in the fire as you could put it!

Im really just looking for a very simple solution that i can roll out for multiple sites. I would manage the front end design, so really its just the backend.

Have you had a look at the example script i posted?

Budget wise, im open really feel free to PM what you think its going to cost

    Tom

Yes, I took a look. This set up looks more like 1 site for multiple users, where the impression I am getting is you will create one site for one user (ie band).

I have logged in as a user and admin on the demo on code canyon. I see how it is a little much for a non-technical user and really only needs to edit text on a page, and maybe change out an image.

Let me see if I can get a demo set up quickly of a simple CMS I have created. I will PM you when it functioning.
