Simple check question

I have incorporated a LLC, under which I'm going to run all my sites. I'm not familiar with U.S. banking system, so I have a question: If I'm about to receive a check (say from Google AdSense). should it be payable to my personal name, or to my company name?

I would have the checks made out to the business name, however, make sure you have a bank account in the name of the LLC or you will have problems cashing the check. It isn't a complicated process, but make sure you check with the bank to see what they are going to require to open up the account. Business accounts usually have a small monthly fee, whereas a lot of banks offer free personal checking accounts. I presume you set up the LLC for asset protection, so you want to make sure you run the LLC like a business.
