Contest Simple Charity Association Logo - $10 For Best Design

Hello everyone,

I would like to request a simple logo for a charity association named:

"White Hands"

The design in mind is roughly as follows:

several white hands forming a circle with the palms upwards, fingers
pointing inwards, as in giving out something to people.

Each palm has some title on it, for example:

Palm1: The Poor
Palm2: Orphans
Palm3: Widows
Palm4: The Sick
Palm5: The Disabled
.... etc.

You can add few more palms to these and give them appropriate
labels that suit such charities.

Words should not be too big or take away from the design.

Throw in the name "White Hands" somewhere.

If the name white hands is in the middle, it'd make sense if the palms
fingers were facing outwards.

Not sure which would be better, but I'm sure you get the idea and
can provide good work.

Offering $10 for this logo, to be paid directly through paypal.

Let them coming and the winner will be announced later!

Good entry Rich... would just prefer if the hands were a little more whiter, without too much shades... can you do this?

Ok guys, nice entries...

but now I'd like you not to stick to the
specifications above...

Show your creativity... the logo can have
any details you want.. as long as there is
a "warm giving white hand" or more than
one hand..Words or no words, it's upto you...

Sorry for the change, but I might endup
choosing one of your logos of different
concept than what I mentioned above...

Nice border and great grey gradient background.

If just the image at the middle has some sort of white
hands (maybe two hands in praying position, not
necessarily in the flat in your face position),

it'd be much appreciated...

Like very much the 3D impression, which you
achieved using the radial gradient tool I believe.

 

Hows this? Feedback Appreciated and Changes can be made.

one...

hmmm... a lil bit very basic.. you can feel free to
go with a new concept you may have in your mind.

 

Best concept so far in my opinion...Except for the following:

- It gives the impression that the white hands belong to
the people in need... they should belong to the charity.

- a lil bit too tiny hands.

If you can find a way to give the impression that the hands
belong to the association, and make them bigger...

plus play more with the word's colours as in giving some
shades to make them stand out.. not basic yellow...
but great concept!

I didn't mind the yellow colour, but just prefer
it wasn't just plain yellow without some details
in colouring...

Think the gradient at the triangular edges,
could've been better.

But the whole logo is still kindda 2D..
would prefer further depth in it.

Try to make the background colour, radial gradient,
like sikka2010's attempt. Right now it is linear gradient.

Also can you add any detail that shows that the
hands are "giving" hands that belong to the association,
and not the people?
