Nothing special here. Just another simple blog design. It's a blog and blogs should always have the focus on content so who cares about the design as long as it is discreet and looks like the most of the blogs.

 

very true , content for blogs is more important than anything elsecontent is king

 

i say put the ads on the right side so it doesn't look out of place.

 

very plain and full of ads already!

 

like it. uncluttered layout. good mix of neutrals. no suggestions except to keep doing what you're doing!

I know you said "simple" blog temple...but in my humble opinion, we might be over-doing it a wee bit in the simplicity department, no?
I'm gonna go ahead and say "I think you need a header, darker lines to separate the segments and most of all...some images".
Do that and get back to me. I'll be glad to help you.
