Simple blog style "Add comment" script out there?

I hope someone can help me with this, for the past few days I have been
looking for an "Add comment" script to my html pages.
I found some, the problem is that they are either only working with php sites, or they they are way too old(guestbooks)

I was just hoping to find a simple "Blog-add-comment-look" (and really amazing if ajax!), that I can add to my html pages where I offer a free widget, and visitors should be able to give honest feedback.

Would appriciate any help or direction that could solve my little struggle:)

If one have a custom script they are on their own site, I'm willing to put in a few bucks .

    Cheers Dan

Dude, commenting requires some backend where you must keep the comments and retrieve them later.

Without a server-side programming thats not possible.

BTW, your blog uses which software, wordpress or blogger ?

    Thx for your reply harrisunderwork
I'm not using any cms at all, otherwise it would have been pretty easy.

I just kind of hoped it was possible to find an "add comment" script similar to wordpress, blogger etc so my visitors can leave a comment.

I found some php scripts, all very old. :(

The link given by river is best suited for cms not for a website build in html.
