Can anyone here suggest a more modern WordPress theme which is very similar to the one being used here:

Most important the layout of the top menu, images and sidebar.

I don't know, but it seems like it is "kippis1.15" theme, it's customisable in two (currently like funcord.com) or three columns, and easy to find and add a large collection of pluggins.
