I've heard very frightening rumours about so called "silver bullet" sites that if you accidently/on purpose you get a link to your site from them it can immediately get you banned from the Google index . I know this seems very unlikely but I'm a little scared that I may accidently hit such a site when link building... anyone heard anything about this?
