I know this is a really silly question but...What does the coop text link ads look like..? I am currently redesigning several site and would like to design with space for the coop ads - I need to know what to design for.

How much control do we have over color text size font etc..?

A link to a page currently using the coop text ads (no the boxes) and a description of where to look for them so I can distenguish them from other text links - would be helpful.

thanks in advance for answering my silly question

Most are running five text links in footer. Look at one of the posts saying validation help needed that says ads showing. Would give you a link to a site of mine if I had sites in co-op.

Log into your account and click the 'Setup Instructions' link at the top. A sample ad displays at the top by default, right under the first textfield.

You can look at the footer at www.kwikgoblin.com to see 5 text links. Basically though the number and appearance are completely up to you as long as they are visible.

You had banner ads selected when you copied and pasted the code from DP to use on your site. Re-do it, select "only text links" from the drop down below the box.

I think you are running a banner ad. Text ads can be formatted to look much like our footer links. People are using span statements or CSS to control text color and background color so text link ads integrate better.
