    Hey,

I was just wondering about how to fix the following situation:

    - A few days ago, I bought a product (physical) from a guy through PayPal, and mistakingly I send him to ship to another address, which is about 600km from where I currently am.

Luckily, before he shipped the item, I emailed him TWICE to tell him to ship it to another shipping address - the correct one. And he said OK, he'll send it there (he responded to both of the emails).

Now, the guy gave me a tracking ID, and I saw that the item has been send to the wrong address!

What can I do? Get a refund somehow?

I doubt you'll get a refund, even if you chargeback on paypal he will simply sumbit the tracking info...

It's a business account, so I usually have to remind sellers to send it to my personal address, instead of the business one... but this seller obviously forgot it :p

    - Depending on the shipper, the person who sent it may still be able to change the address on the package while it's in transit. Ask him to call - and offer to pay an additional fees that may result from you messing up.

    - If that doesn't work, depending on the shipper and whether a signature is required, when they don't find a person with your name at the address you gave them it should be returned to the sender. At least that's happened to me.

    - If the sender didn't ship requiring a signature or some other way of checking that the recipient was at the address, you may be out of luck.
