From ZDNET UK: http://news.zdnet.co.uk/internet/ecommerce/0,39020372,39190652,00.htm Obviously, many are not impressed: http://news.zdnet.co.uk/internet/ecommerce/0,39020372,39191334,00.htm Similarly on the OsCommerce forums I read about a company holding patents on e-commerce. So they were sueing everyone they could find trading on the net. How stupid is that?! Luckily that one got finally overruled it seems. Amazon's one click buy patent is prbably the most hated of all. I'm thinking of filing a patent for taking a crap. I'll license the technique to all who want to use it for just $0.0000001 every time. Pretty cheap hey?!
I'll swap licences with mine on eye blinking. (Please note the fine print. Fees are 'per eye, per blink, per day'.)
Shouldn't be a worry for you just yet. Another 5 years and you might have to start paying fees for it (being the geek you are might reduce your changes though haha).
He knows I'm just joking. I checked out all Josh' sites and he's way ahead of the game in maturity compared to most of his age so the opposite of what I said is probably true.
