I saw this yesterday on smallbusinessforums.org when I tried to post a message on the introductions board.

Posting Suspended Whilst Moderators Off Duty

At present there is no Forum moderator on duty. As a temporarily measure we are suspending posting whilst this is the case. Please try again in a few hours when someone from the team returns.

This step has been taken to help prevent link spam and advertising. The problem is that when the mods are not available, some visitors flood the forum with commercial links and self advertising posts. This devalues the content and usability of the site. Thus posting is only allowed when a member of staff is available to deal with this

Sorry for any inconvenience. We will return to normal 24x7 operation when we have identified a different method of managing it.
