Hi, i would like to compare both Yahoo Overtune and Google AdWords on the following feature - Minimum Payout - Setup Fees - Minimum Fund to Join - Ad Title character size limit - Ad Description character size limit - Keywords war competitive (which one spend more ad cost?) - Hidden Fees? Thanks
1. What do you mean? 2. Yahoo requires minimum of $30 when you sign-up. Adwords charge you one-time $5 activation fee. 3. I would suggest to have about $100 to spend. 4. 25 - Adwords, I think Yahoo is the same 5. Both are 70 characters. 6. Adwords is much more competitive 7. No hidden fees
Thanks for the details. But jz to clarify myself I found the yahoo flash demo mentioned that their "description" can reach 190 characters?? The $30 is for registration fees? or the $30 for the credits to buy PPC? Minimum Payout == What is the threshold before publisher can get their Ads Revenue? I found from the Yahoo site, they said they support up to 40 characters for title are u sure is 25? I need to do a compare research between Overtune and AdWords for both Advertiser and Publisher. So they could be more clear on which Network to go
Yahoo allows 70 characters for ad description, that's for sure. However, there is some space for additional description, but I do not know how it appears on search results. There's no registration fee for Yahoo, but basically, you cannot register with Yahoo without topping up your account and they ask you to top-up your account with minimum of $30, when you are signing-up. As I said, I am not sure about how many characters Yahoo allows for the title. It might be 40, like you are saying. All I know for sure, is that Adwords allows 25. In my opinion, forget Yahoo and work Adwords, it's much much better. Learn how to use it.
So, i summarize what i found in my research, still some gap to fill in AdWords - Minimum Payout how much Ad Revenue should publisher has before they can get their pay check from Google? - Setup Fees One time activation fees $5 - Minimum Fund to Join How much credit Advertiser should add into their account before they can start? It shouldn't be ANY AMOUNT rite? - Ad Title character size limit 25 characters maximum - Ad Description character size limit 70 characters maximum - Keywords war competitive Google more competitive than Yahoo, so it requests more Ad Budget to promote the campaign - Hidden Fees? No hidden fees Overtune - Minimum Payout how much Ad Revenue should publisher has before they can get their pay check from Yahoo? - Setup Fees No setup fee - Minimum Fund to Join Minimum $30 to top up their Ads Credits in order to promote their campaign. Which mean, they need at least $30 to signup+run the campaign, am i rite? - Ad Title character size limit 40 characters maximum - Ad Description character size limit 70 characters maximum - Keywords war competitive (which one spend more ad cost?) less competitive than Google, pay less in Ad Budget - Hidden Fees? No hidden fees Those marked with Red color is the one not sure, could somebody help me out?
Adwords "- Minimum Payout how much Ad Revenue should publisher has before they can get their pay check from Google?" Adwords doesn't send checks, same with Yahoo. "- Minimum Fund to Join How much credit Advertiser should add into their account before they can start? It shouldn't be ANY AMOUNT rite?" To join Adwords you just pay $5 to activate the account, after that you spend as much as you want. You can choose prepay billing(you top-up your account before receiving clicks) or postpay billing(Adwords charge you after you receive clicks) Yahoo - Minimum Fund to Join Minimum $30 to top up their Ads Credits in order to promote their campaign. Which mean, they need at least $30 to signup+run the campaign, am i rite? Yes you are right.
nicely explained by bl4ckmaN^... but end of the day you need to compare the volume of traffic and quality that makes the large difference...
The quality of your traffic doesn't depend on PPC program, it depends on how the campaign is structured(keywords+ads+landing page)
