Now what i need to do is to "sign" my VISA debit card. Now exactly where am i supposed to put an autograph on my card? Is it before the number given at the back?

I have attached an image, with a red bordered area to indicate where i think i should sign the card. Tell me if thats right.

Depending on how long your signature is, you can sign over the entire white area.

Yeah , I also Signed .... I was Even Surprised To Hear to Sign At the Back of My Card ..

They Say It Prevents From Un-Authorized Transactions With the Physical Card ..

that signature is used as an authorization and it is better if you sign at the back of the card.

You need to sign on (white strip) on the rverse of the card immediately after getting it. That is merely for identification.

    DON.

When you sign across the white strip, it authenticates your ownership of the card and helps in preventing its misuse.
