I need tips on how I can be accepted as an affiliate by merchants and what to avoid in order not to be rejected. Also, I launch a new sit 24 hours ago but have Googled the site upto page 41 without seeing the site, what is the reason for this. Thanks

In order to be accepted you will need to have a website for Merchants, Affiliate or CPA Networks to look at. Most of them will want to know how much traffic you get. So it's best to add 20 Articles to your site and get traffic to your site. When you are getting at least 100 visits each day, then contact a network and sign up for their affiliate program.

You will also need to let them know how you will promote products. You will need to let them know if your going to promote them by PPC, Email Marketing, Social Networking, Organic Traffic or Article Marketing. Let them know what your doing now to get traffic. Most sites do not like incentives. If they do like them, they will usually tell you on their first page or in the FAQ'S page. So if they do not like them, make sure you say no to using them and never use them while promoting their stuff.

And most networks will give you a call to talk to you before approving you. So make sure you pick up the phone, call them back and talk confidently and friendly to them.

    Hope these tips helped you.

Have you heard about Google indexing? you have just submitted the site now its time for Google to review it and then add it to their search engine. it takes time. for accelerating this process you can do some social networking. like digg, Face book and other sites. submit those posts there and the process will be accelerated.
    thanks

Getting into CPA networks is fairly simple, have a blog/website with good content, more than 5 posts is the norm, and don’t lie about anything, period!

You launched a site and in 24 hours and you expect it to be indexed by Google and ranked high at the same time? It's just not that simple.

Lot of good information and detail provided above. The final method that can get you qualified quickly is the direct phone call to the account manager, who will review the same type areas listed, and see how well you answer, make the final decision many cases on the spot. They just want to make sure you are real, motivated, and capable in supporting their brand/products...

I've also found this call is the best time to get your questions answered, allowing you to quickly move forward. The acct managers have all the insight on what products are moving/converting best, and the best method (s) to promote.
