Signing up with CJ or Direct?

Well I have been with CJ and made quite a lot money. But lately I have been finding that many programs offered through CJ also have their own inhouse affiliate system.

So my question, is it better to join an affiliate program with their inhouse system or with CJ?

I like to keep all my eggs in the one basket when it comes to affiliate programs. I mainly run eBay sites though, so I've really got no choice.

I do run a few inhouse affiliate programs on my console gaming sites, but none of them are associated with CJ. If CJ had some good import gaming advertisers I'd been using them.

Do you get a higher percentage/payment with the inhouse programs?

While the inhouse program may promise higher payouts (a lot of the time) I would stick with CJ. It's a hassle to keep up with dozens of places to get paid from and contacting each one individually when there is an issue.

Let me give you one example. Bluehost has their own affiliate system and they also offer it through CJ . They pay 90$ if you are an affiliate through CJ and they pay 70$ if you are direct affiliate for every sale.

So do you think all sales through CJ for such programs are reported or publishers get robbed of their commissions?
