signing up for Amazon affiliate-web site question

Hello all,

Newbie here and I have a question about signing up to be an affiliate on Amazon. They ask you for a website but the website I currently have has nothing to do with the products I wish to sell from Amazon, will that matter? Or should I use say a Squidoo lens that I have for a different affiliate program? and would they accept a Squidoo or Blog? thanks much, fin

i am not sure whether amazon accepts squidoo lens. but i applied with a arcade site and got accepted. hope this helps you.

 

I'm interested to know what you are going to be doing with Amazon? Perhaps referring? You can have a blog or whatever as I have done so in the past.

 

I don't know whether or not squidoo accepts Web 2.0 sites like Squiddo. Let me know if they do.

 

What ever your site (read their TOC) you will definitely be accepted. Unless of course it's a racist, homophobic and adult sites. Other than that you will almost definitely be accepted.

Don't provide Squidoo though, I'd suggest you grab a blogspot blog and use that.
