    Hi there,

I noticed 40% decrease in web traffic during the last 8-10 days. Anyone else noticed like this.?

    Regards

As other people said, it is normal this time of year. I wrote a post about it last week, The holiday traffic blues.

    Cheers!

December will generally see a drop in traffic unless you have a site which deals with Christmas and New Year cards or gifts ;)

most people took 2 weeks off of work thus they might do most of their surfing from the office.

If your blog is informational rather than shopping related, it is usual to get a drop in this festive season. Only 40%? I get 50%.

Enjoy this festive season and have fun ... This is usual practice and everyone is facing this. Your web site's traffic will be increased in a week or so ....
