hello every one , i signed up for coop advertising network almost 3 weeks ago , and i still cant activate my account.
this is what i see on when i login

Account not yet activated. | Site failed automatic validation as of 2004-09-23 (make sure URL and site type is correct - if everything is correct, it may require manual validation). Auto Validate Now

i am not sure if the url i am having is correct : well i tried all of the ones below

    http://www.mysite.com/
    http://www.mysite.com/catalog/
    http://www.mysite.com/catalog/links.php
    http://www.mysite.com/catalog/all_products.php

do i have to put the adds ( banners) on my site to activate my account ?
can any one please get me started

    any help is greatly apprecaited

    thankyou

I dont use it, but I would guess you need to put the link up to actually valiadate your site in the network,

Excuse me if I am completely wrong.

Yes you need to put the ads on your site, then you can click the activation/validate link.

thankyou for your prompt replies. Can you please tell me where to find those adds that i can put on my site? Also if i register with
    http://www.mysite.com/catalog/links.php

so i only have to display the adds on links.php page right ? does this effects my weight in coop advertising. like this way only 1 page will be displaying the adds and if i register with http://www.mysite.com/catalog/
then my whole site will be displaying the adds , like on every page. which one is better for me ?

    thankyou

The coop network wouldn't really do you much good if you only put it on your links page. That would be more of a link exchange. Since the impressions are weighted, the more pages you have displaying the ad's, the more often your ad/link will show up. I really think it will be pointless for you to just put it on 1 page. ;)

The ads aren't showing on your pages, that's why it's not validating.

Sorry, without any errors or access to the source, it would need to be done on your end.

There is one more step--did you do that? I think in overall footer file. One more line to add. Go back and check the instructions. last step

Don't know if you were talking to me or someone else, but I don't want anyone's passwords. Wouldn't want to be blamed for anything.
