I like the bottom one better as well but since it's the FG monkey...it won't cause "issues" ?

not likely that it would just something to consider

 

i couldnt find any other good monkey renders ;'(

Well, on this forum, you won't be able to use either

In my opinion though, the first one is better, even though the edges of the monkey's face are really ... crappy.

 

The first monkey looks stoned.
