one of the way to get more exposure for your site is to include its URL as a signature in every outgoing email. when you reply someone, there're two ways of inserting the email: which way of signing will cause your URL to be noticed more?
any particular reason? as for me, if i am the reader, i would stop reading once i see the appended message (thereby skipping the signature). i was wondering if there're many people like me or not.
I completely agree about having the signature with your website link in every outgoing mail. I think that when you are replying to an incoming email it's less important. That person is more likely already to know or know about you. I still use my signature in replies, but I put it below the appended quote. But I'll admit, you've got me thinking about that now.
Interesting, I haven't thought about different signature positions. I aways put them on the really end of message.
The first one is better obviously. I very rarely read quoted message, just quick look to extract the general idea of message.
While that may be so, I think the second option would be forgiven, if even noted as something the reader didn't like.
A sig line after the original message will often go unseen. Most people don't scroll down to see teh bottom of their own message. Why would they?
I believe the second one would get your signature noticed. I personally would stop reading where the original message started.
