Signatures allowing 4 lines!!!!!

Hello all DP members and MODS.

I just came across something that I would like to share. This thread is in no way meant to point people or give ideas for violating DP's Terms and Conditions..

But I saw a sig that was coming on 4 lines. I rushed to see the FAQs and Rules section, but found that only 3 lines and 4 links are allowed.

Here's what the person had done...

This example explains how he managed to get 4 lines in the sig. Is this allowed

Yes, it is possible to have four lines using the vBulletin code. Ask Amit!!!

He's been busted a few times for four lines. It's not very hard to generate a 4th line.

 

yea, and his sig had gone for a while and he begged shawn to give it back to him...

Shawn sure doesn't allow cheater to play their dirty trick

 

I am glad i read this or i most likely would have posted my full sig that i use on other forums which consists of an image then four lines of links.

 

You can use 4 lines, but your signature would be stripped as soon as it is noticed by MOD/Admin, you could permanently loose your signature as well for violating the TOS.

Honey, I have a confession to make. I blew up the baby, er... I mean...For a week or two I had four lines. Any one remember when I had 'Get Visitors Quick - FREE!!!' on the top left of my signature??!!! That was it's own line!!! vBulletin won't let

text be on the same line as normal text. For example...

The codes for all that are on the same line, but vBulletin makes the show up as four lines.

As soon as I saw Amit get busted...I got rid of the top left link!!! ​

Please forgive me about a stupid question but why is it limited to 3 lines and not a few more?
