No. signature should not be a part of the post. actually there should be an option to toggle ON/OFF the signature on quick reply !!
we have some restrictions in using signatures. a member needs to have 10 valid posts (& should had been registered at least 7 days back) to get signatures added to posts. that is signature put in profile automatically gets added below forum posts. edit profile
Your signature will automatically attached to the post. You can post links to promote in the post. You will get banned.
The problem is that I now have 16 post and have been a member for 10 days and still I get redirected to the FAQ on signatures. I don't get it!! Edit: Ah, and now I have added my picture and suddenly I'm able to add my sig... Stupid me...
On most of the forums, there's a cap, before you can use your signature links. Here at Digital Point, you need to have atleast 10 posts, before you can use your singnature links.
Digital point is an interesting forum because there is a lot of "quas-spam" going on. Comments which aren't that helpful, but aren't that spammy either. Hard to say. I guess in an SEO and IM forum, you've got to expect links in signatures, so the moderators go easy on people here. I'm a new member, and yet, it's nice to have the signature in the link, but I AM trying to be part of the community. You've got to be careful with signature and link - it's really easy to get banned.
Some post do allow signature and some don't.We need to be careful about putting the signature and links as per required nor it has loads chances to get banned.
No. signature should not be a part of the post. in fact there should be an alternative to pin ON/OFF the signature on high-speed answer!! we have some limitations in using signatures. a member needs to have 10 suitable posts & should had been registered at least 7 days back to get signatures added to posts.
