I have found that auctions work best. That way nobody can say my price is too high. Sometimes my auctions don't go for much, sometimes they go high. I never know what is going to happen.

I have one link available right now, just haven't had the energy to set up an auction for it. I have it set now so someone could PM me if they were interested in it, but nobody does. The only good ways I have found for selling a link is through an auction, or offering a renewal to a current link buyer.

You're right, the market changed but I still can't understand what happened to change it. There are always new people coming to DP but that still shouldn't have been enough to crash the market.

Whats the point? Pay is little as possible, might as well ask for them free. Pay for what the signature is worth and not to cheapen them. $1 for every 100 post is probably as one should go as far as cheap goes. Even paid posting they get .10 to .25 cents a post and can you imagine when and where they post how many people will view the post with the link. Advertising should not be expensive nor cheap enough to beg for pennies.

If someone offers a LINK in their signature, does that mean permanent if they dont mention a fixed period?

It is likely that they forgot to mention that it was for a month. It is always better to confirm with the seller. Most signature sales here are for a month

DP is different the paid posting, you should be glad if someone pays you for a spot.

Uh no. One should be happy that the buyer and seller could come to a reasonable agreement. Lowering prices because everyone wants to get something for nothing is not good period.

And indeed paid posting is different than DP. But one is pretty much paying for the users posting efforts here at DP. Paying for sig links/posting is what you are paying for. 2000 posts vs 200 posts is a big difference. $20 vs $2 is a big difference. Thus the 2000 posts should not be paid the same as the 200 post. And that is what many people are either selling or trying to buy. Buying something for nothing.
