I do not know what has happened. I set up my signature and there was not any guidance on what was allowed or not. I went to update it today and I cannot update. Not sure what is happening. My suggestion is that if I have done something wrong I should be told.
Signatures and live links within posts are not available to users until they have been a member at least 7 days, have positive (green) reputation and have at least 10 posts. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/faq.php?faq=signatures#faq_signature_requirements
PS - I checked my set up and I did opt in to receive infraction notices. I did not receive anything. I even checked my spam folder. Thanks nihangshah - I saw that post. I had signatures and they have been taken off. I believe I met all of the criteria: member at least 7 days - Yes have positive (green) reputation - I have done nothing negative. and have at least 10 posts. - Yes If I have a look at what I post it has a green button (assume that is my reputation). It says that I have ten posts on the right side - I think that I have more than that but it is still at least 10.
The button means you are online. Did you tick the little button that says show signature? It's down the bottom right of the quick reply.
After merging the 3 back-to-back posts on this thread, you only have 9 posts. If you are posting junk just to get your postcount up, those posts will be deleted as well. Once you do meet the basic requirements, you will have to wait for cron to run to update your permission. This could take up to 24 hours. Be patient and you will have your signature soon enough.
