But I was not not allowed to create signature until my account became 7 days old :(
That was my first plan. Unfortunately my account has not passed adolescence :(. Its just 10 days old. So I'm not allowed to post in the BST section. Once I posted in that forum without thinking about the rule, but removed it immediately.

    I got 2 PMs so far :)

Anyway, Thanks for the tip :)

Sorry for eavesdropping, can you plz say what 'roflmao' stands for?

That means "Rolling on the Floor Laughing My Ass Off"

Why are you so keen to sell your signature when you have only been here 10 days?

Good Question :). I'm not keen to sell my signature. I saw someone offering his sig links for money. I became curious and checked the rules about signature. It said nothing about selling signature. Hence I started this thread, it was then 'pc_user' told me that some people make good money selling sig links. Then I thought why shouldn't I do the same???? Afterall, currently I spend more than 4 hours a day in DP. Some extra money is surely going to be an added advantage for me. I really want to buy more websites.
Also, although I've been here for only 10 days, I'm so sure that I made much larger contribution to DP compared to atleast 20K other DP members, many of whom come just to get help (No offence meant to anyone :) ). You can see that if you check the posts history of most of the thread starters in the programming section.

Thanks a lot for expanding 'roflmao'

yfs1, you have to give credit to Aragorn...this one actually read the FAQ and asked a question which wasn't covered. :)

You need to have a minimum of 10 posts, should be a member for atleast 10 days and you should have a positive reputation.

$3.64 a month is what your signature is worth. A penny a post.

It can be worth much more. The 2 siglinks that I sold were for $10 a month. The first one was sold when I had just 300 posts (of which 180 did not have signature).

Some people are more generous than others when paying for links - the chap who buys the link price calculator link seems particularly generous when it comes to paying well over the odds! Nintendo's 1 cent per post rule gives a reasonable (realistic) price most of the time.

More than that, For me, I'm looking at the REP you have + the post rate and if i am familar with any of your posts or not.

Like you disquised, you have a good posting count + posting rate+ good rep. so you are my marketer in the signature link (hope u remember which one is mine ) hehe.

    toby.
answer: Yes, u can put up your signature and well, you shall be doing a good job by sharing more knowledge with people or you could face with low value of your signature sale.

Its not just him. I've 2 sig links and an avatar for $10 / month. I think some of the people (I know there are exceptions like toby :D ), are looking at posts / day for making a decision.

Did you tell da buyers that!!! :D

People also look at your post per count rate. If you wanna keep a good reputation, you'll keep the links there until they unsubscribe, and the buyers might think you'll eventually have thousands of posts, and then they'll end up payinng way less than a penny per post!!

    Oops...I came from behind :D
I didn't read the beginning of your thread.
I think there's no problem to say that in your sig , no problem.
You can add the color in your sig, so go to sig option, highlight what you want and choose your color from the tab...Or, you can do it by hand coding...
