I have a quick question that has been talked about here and there but I can't seem to find an absolute answer. I have an e-commerce site, to advertise that site I purchase a lot of forum sponsorship or vendorship programs so I can introduce my site and products. Here is my question, is it illegal or look down upon or will Google penalize me for putting my website address in my forum signature? I am talking about over 10 major forums, and each thread has at least 100 posts all with my signatures in them. My signature consists of something like this Sales Rep Name Number Company Site
If you increase your backlinks quickly, you might trigger spam alert. Do it moderately and consistently. Link building activity like forum signature won't get your site penalized. Don't over do it.
don't use the same anchor text in each of your backlink. diversify, my friend. if your link comes from various sources, it is not spamming. build link from reputable websites such as DP, Webpro, etc.
Dont use same links in all forums and if you want to pass link in forums then pass different URL for each anchor text. For posting use some tactics dont fo just do spamming.
