Signature links decreases rankings

    I have not seen any evidence of signature links increasing or decreasing rankings. Signature links are best used to get sites or single web pages indexed.

    Nobody can tell you exactly how much will take for you to see the results. Just build them, and allow G some time to index them.

    If backlinks from signature links affect a site's serps then would this mean i could destroy all my competitions ranking by putting their link in mysignature?

    I dont think so but i thought it was worth asking.

    you are so mixed up. links in signature don't downgrade se results. These SE results fluctuate constantly, while one day you may see your website rank 20 other day you may see it rank 25, other day it may rank 15 and so on....
    So no neither google is down-valuating sig links nor it has anything to do with sig lniks it's just your linko-phobia taking over and messing with your mind!

    signature links do not hurt and they do not help much either...it was just a coincidence that when you checked the rankings dropped a bit
