If you would like more details on showthatportfolio, then here are some posts that I made detailing it: Introduction to showthatportfolio Update on showthatportfolio 11 days till release - showthatportfolio Thanks for your time Simon North showthatportfolio
Being this is in the review section of DP, my review is that I would want more information before giving my information. You should at least have some content with some more details about how it's all going down. There is also no contact information.
What would you like to know about it? I can answer any questions here. Also you can contact me via contact @ showthatportfolio . com (remove spaces).
If you can answer here, then you can post more information on your site. Personally, I think one would be crazy to fill out this form without knowing more. No privacy statement? No way is my email going in that form. If you are just looking for subscribers by starting this thread, I think that would be a bad idea. This isn't the place to advertise unless it is in the top right header of this forum.
From the about page Introduction showthatportfolio is a site that is dedicated to bringing together artists and designers portfolio's into one place in order to allow potential clients and other artists and designers to view their work. Getting Contracts with showthatportfolio showthatportfolio provides members a "step in the door" to getting contracts from potential clients. The idea behind this is that a potential client will browse members portfolio's and will most likely find one that he/she likes. The potential client will then be able to look at the pricing, services and terms of use of that particular artist or designer and will be able to easily contact the member. Forum The main focus of showthatportfolio is to provide a community for artists and designers, to enhance this experience, showthatportfolio has a forum where users can discuss many areas of art and design. I have also added a note on the sign up form that says that I will only be sending you an invitation email, nothing else. Hope this helps, if anyone has specific questions about the site then please do not hesitate to ask. I simply need people to test the site when it goes live but I wont have time getting people to come on launch because I will be concentrating on starting the advertising side of the site. I am really hoping that this site will be a success and I really think that it can help a lot of people on Digital Point so I wanted to give them the opportunity before others. Thank you
