sign up sheets

    Ok so I am trying out php to build my website and I am developing the sign up sheets. But I am a little confused about what the slots mean? It wants you to state the number of slots. When editing I put first name--thinking it was part of creating the sign up and then it ask for number of openings..what is this for?
