Google's pagerank was updated both in January and February. That alone makes me believe that from now on they'll update pagerank each month. As everyone may know by now, Google also displays a website's pagerank in Google's Webmaster Tools. The funny thing is that the pagerank they display is sorted by months, starting from December 07. Could this be a sign that from now on they'll update pageranks every month instead of every 3 months?
Monthly update is good since it'll be more accurate. Where is pagerank shown in webmaster tools? can't find it.
No idea.. have that for all my sites. It could be that the December they mentioned is actually January's pagerank and that February will be the Pagerank we will receive this month.. I'm only guessing but I think they'll be updating more often from now on.
If they update it monthly that would help in getting accurate rankings. But thats only going to increase work for webmaster who are worried about pr.
"The funny thing is that the pagerank they display is sorted by months, starting from December 07. Could this be a sign that from now on they'll update pageranks every month instead of every 3 months?" Its not started from December 07, I see the "The page that has the highest pr is listed by months." option, from the very first day when I joined webmaster tools.
Oh that could explain it.. I thought it was that way for all sites because even new sites show the month December. Guess that was the month I signed up in. But isn't this pagerank feature new? How far back does this go for others?
