I am trying to optimize the SEO keywords for this site and I am not sure whether to target the site as a "game" or as "stock trading" I think that google adsense deems this site for stocktrading because all of the ads displayed are for Etrade or getting better at stock trading. sigmatrader.com/trade.php how can I also target this site to "gamers" using keywords? I would like this game to display ads for games as well because the majority of is players are not involved in stock trading. Personally, if you want to target gaming keywords, I would think about focusing on quality backlinks from gaming sites with related anchor text. Content about video games might feel weird on the site.
Thanks, I think that would be weird too. The site is a game about stock trading, so it makes sense to have information about stock trading. Adsense can't make the distinction though. I think it is hurting my revenue because gamers are not going to click on stock trading ads. Maybe if I have backlinks from gaming sites it will put more gaming ads there? What I would like is ads for fun games to be displayed to someome might be interested in playing another fun game after playing my game. Best, The Sigmatrader Team
