i created a site the 2-3 days ago and made at the time what i thought was a very simple mistake.... i uploaded some flash and some adsense units to the page, JUST TO BE UPLOADING IT, but with not one word on the site... the only words google could pull ffrom was the url, with "cats" in it... now, my site has absolutely NOTHING to do with the fury animal, so i thought, ok, i'll just add keywords, block all these kitty cat ads, wait a few days and ill be ok... still nothing.... i even bought a very similar domain, uploaded the exact same content, and the CORRECT ads show up based off of the keywords... so, how long will it take google to realize i dont want ads coming from the domain name? jeez, this is getting a little frustrating .... im almost tempted to just use the second domain name i purchased, but really dont want to... any advice?
oh and another thing, google is NOT blocking the domains i added to the competitive ad filter (on the original site)... can someone tell me why this is?? i added domains to the filter over 24 hours ago, and the blocked domains are still showing up
cool man google will take 4-5 days to crew your site so once your site get crew you will get ads which is related to your content.
google will need to visit your site again, because yourt site is new it may take some times, because you dont have many inbound links.
You just have to add more content with targeted keywords in it. Don't worry, once the page get crawled, things should be ok and related ads should start to appear.
In my experience Google will be back with a week and will start re-indexing your pages. Use the time to make sure the site is as good as possible in the time allowed and that the number of inbound links are maximised.
