SigChat.com Beta is online! What do you think of it?

Hi, its been a while. SigChat.com is now ready for public Beta testing.

At SigChat.com you can create an image based shout box/chat box specifically made to be placed into your forum signature, although you can place it on websites, forums, myspace profiles, blogs - basically anywhere you can think of placing bbcode/html code :) you can create custom colour schemes and custom sizes. The final image is outputted as an optimised gif and is hosted on the sigchat server. There is no user registration needed and sigchat will remain 100% for ever.

Here is a sample of a sigchat produced from sigchat.com

I would like people to review my site and if possible share their ideas on improving the site and its features (I would only like the sites functionality reviewed, I know I have 0 meta tags and a lack of information on the site, but im really only interested in getting the site working 100% at the moment).

If anyone would be interested in bug testing the site, please feel free as its open for public beta testing.

That's just wow amazing I love it :)

What can I say great :)

Everytime I come across great site though and an amazing idea the design seems to be poor the site has so much potential and would be a huge hit no doubt with a better design :)

Wow thank you all for your positive comments! I wouldn't be able to add an ajax function for users who wish to use the bbcode option as forums etc restrict on such input, although having ajax as an option for the users who wish to use the html output would certainly be something for me to think about and maybe implement :) I am going to be working on SigChat over the next few days making changes and tweaking 'little bits n pieces'. I would love to hear some of your comments on how to improve the sites design to make it easier for users to use the site.

again, thank you all for your positive comments. I will work with these comments, and all future comments to improve sigchat. :)

User registration will not be implemented at the moment as I want to keep the site as easy to use as possible. Messages that are potential spam are flagged, reviewed and removed if found to be spam or offensive.

Great idea!! One of a kind for sure, definately be on the look out for copycats in the future. You know there are always those few people who can't come up with their own ideas, etc. Good luck with your site, its an excellent idea thats for sure!

"Techinical" SigChat already offers custom colour features. Every part of the sigchat can have custom colours, and sizes.
For example, here is a large sigchat (almost chat room size), with custom colours to match, www.shacow.com

wow, love the custom chat box. Very easy to custom make even for a novice. Maybe if possible you could add some smiley faces to it as well.
