I have seen a few other forums that allow this from time to time - it just seems this is the "in" thing this week
There are many forums allowing you to sell siglinks http://www.e-topic.com/forums/ Check it out(small one although)
Then again, if you rent from a well known and active poster on a site. And it really hits the target market you're after then perhaps that is best?
Many forums have profiles where sig links are sold and used by the buyer of the link to promote a URL that they are marketing in multiple locations On DP selling sig links is a very vibrant and strong market with a constant stream of buyers and sellers But the selling and buying price is not constant and a number of variables come into play, during the evaluation of any given sig link A number of keypoints to consider The number of posts by the seller The rep of the seller The average number of posts/per day The number of threads the profile has started Average number of views per thread started The timeline for the sig link display period In what categories does the seller do most of his posting etc etc This is only a few major points to consider before considering to buy a sig link Prices rise and fall in re-action to market conditions, time of the year, etc etc just like any other similar real-time market environment
yeh, signitures can be a great way to generate visitors, but I wouldnt sell spaces because I currently dont post enough. Alex.
britishguy is right, you could sell links on many forums if the signature links are allowed.AFAIK,the forum you couldn't sell links on is v7n forum!
I would not sell my signature before I have decent amount of posts. For me, I have no plan to sell my signature before my 1000th post.
Looks like it's become the next big thing in Link Development.. I'll definitely buy a few sig links once my websites get started up
It is autorave...SEs add this up as your backlinks and it's one or many ways to improve your site's link popularity...
Well i think in most of big forums they use "non fellow" option for sign links so i don't think it would improve the amount of back links.
Now that the sig links topic is hot... How much do you guys think a signature link on 24K posts would cost?
I think exchanging sig links might be useful--since you and the other person are likely to run in differnent forum circles. And you can put more than one link in some forum sigs, so it wouldn't necessarily mean you wouldn't also have your own there. Honestly, I get more hits from links in my sig than any links or banner I have bought elsewhere (not that I've bought many, but still).
