What is it? I cannot find any reference of it in CJ.

    Sid?

    Sid Vicious?

Maybe if you provide further information about what are you looking for someone can tell.

I dropped CJ due to its continuous "shavings" and "deactivations"

Probably the Sid you are talking about is deactivated as well and that's why

    "SID"

You can enter a value when getting code for a link.

SID is your own tag so that you know where the lead came from. e.g. I add &SID=click_site1 so I know they clicked a link or &SID=srch_site1 identifying the fact they used one of my search forms

I have the same problem. I enter SID's so I can track where my sales are coming from but they never show up in my reports. Anyone know why?

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong, you need to look in transaction reports rather than performance. Now finally I know what links are generating sales and it is actually quite surprising to me so I'm very glad to be able to access that info now.

That's correct. It allows you to better track where sales are coming from.
