Sick of Godaddy VPS hosting, please suggest me some better options

    Hi,

    I have a VPS server 4GB RAM with Godaddy but every day the server goes down and I have to restart DNS manually to get site back online. Their chat support is useless and pathetic. I have already lost a lot of business because of them and I need to change servers ASAP.

    I am looking for a Dedicated Windows Server with MS SQL support. Can anyone suggest me some good options in the price range of $150 a month.

    You can find some good midsized non big box companies that offer affordable rates on reliable Windows dedicated systems. A good hosting provider might even help to ease you into the world of a Linux based OS as well. They take more care and time with actually helping their clients with good support. Read a few reviews that aren't from the big main stream names. I really don't recommend the directories as a good source of names but if you look across the forums you can get a good idea of a few for your short list.

    GoDaddy is a horrible host. You might actually be able to get by with another VPS with a good provider, assuming it isn't your resources that are causing the VPS to go down.
