Hey guys, I am sick and tired of gaining traffic for others, for instance if a domain or site has some authority - like Digg or Wordpress.com .... I know how to get traffic to sites and 1000s of uniques per day, but these sites hate me leaching the traffic in return - here's an example : Wordpress : I can write several posts per day to a hosted wordpress blog and using the right tags I can generate quick traffic and within a couple of days I can have 5000 - 10000 uniques per day (to the hosted blog). The thing is wordpress doesn't like me adding my own links into posts and within a week my blog gets deleted and I loose all my work, but during this time I get over 1000 uniques to my sites - or about 10% of the visitors. The tags that I choose often dominate the Google results. Digg : Is the same as above, I can dominate in Google - but after a certain amount of time - I loose my account, well I get carried away and want more visitors and then they think that I am spamming (ie. digg to much or to many items) - doh !! Zimbio : This is another one that's relatively easy, but they like to have a frame around the sites that they link to - it's ugly and kind of takes away the visitors experience (on my site). My dilema : If only I had my own dominant domain - LoL - don't we all want one .... I just hate the fact that I can get 1000s of visitors to these sites and get nothing in return, I would love to have people such as my self promoting my sites for free. What I want : Reward for my effort .... simply put .... I want traffic or some cash in return for my efforts, why should I keep promoting and adding content to these sites for nothing in return ? like - why should I blog on wordpress.com for nothing in return ? whilst sending and gaining them a lot of visitors. What should I do ? : I want to find someone to work for, someone who will give me reward for the traffic and visitors, someone who wants their website promoted and popular - does anyone know where to start ? I can of course do freelance work, but I need to find a site with some authority of course and that's rare. To find a site who shares there income with members. I don't know - I am stuck, I think that I have talent in getting the traffic and my methods are useful and proven, but how do I put them to use and or even find some work ? LoL - yeah but it takes time and effort, like original posts, researching topics, then obviously writing etc. Then you loose it all .... oh and of course some key word research .... And the 10k visits is to the wordpress hosted blog .... about 10% will be diverted to your site.
So how did you manage to make wordpress delete posts? Cant you turn off the function? But I would also get extremely mad if i was about to get many visitors and then BOOM! Work is gone.
Wordpress.com - the actual wordpress blog host - not the script or independent blog on my site. It's because they don't allow you to write with the intent of marketing your site ... or writing to gain traffic to your site .... when someone reports your blog as being "Spammy" they delete it or remove it from the directory. I write with the intent to get visitors to the blog, yeah sure, I write for the search engines - again yes I do, I want people to read the blog and then navigate to my site .... I don't see anything wrong with that - but wordpress do .... my posts are always original and i research the topic before i post .... but the blog gets a lot of traffic and then boom - they delete it.
Sure I could, I could even start you a blog and create the posts, I can get it up and going with 1000s of visitors a day, then you can add links to posts and side panels / blog rolls, I wont post links etc. though and I will leave that up to you .... then you're responsible for the blog and if it gets banned. But I would need to make some cash out of it.
Hello thsadmin, its me again. Hey, I appreciate the PM that you sent me and I have responded to it. I have also been looking through your posts and so I found this one that I wanted to comment on... I have a pretty large Airsoft Forum with a lot of traffic. I would consider it an "authority site" as it's probably the #3 largest airsoft forum in the world right now but I'm not making any money with it as we're not selling anything there. I have a handful of advertisers and sponsors, but that's only a couple hundred dollars a month. Can't survive on that of course, but how would having access to a large "authority" website help you? I guess I still don't understand.
Well sites with some grunt or authority tend to rank higher in Google results and are also indexed very quickly, for instance I could start a topic here on DP and within 5 minutes dominate a long tail search term - the tip is to find a long tail search term with little competition and is extremely popular at the time of posting .... Two hard parts are : One ) Finding a authority site. Two) Finding the long tail search term that's pretty popular. Examples : One) Sites like Digg or Wordpress (hosted blog) using their Tags. Two) I already have this one down to an art and here lies a simple technique. My hard part is finding someone to work for and can afford to employ me part time or full time.
I think I am begining to understand. Well I believe I can help with an "authority site" that you're llooking for allthough, its a very tight nitch so it's not going to be easy to promote other websites or products from it but google, yahoo and many other engines are on my website all day everyday - so I know what you mean about high ranking sites like that. Well myfriend consider yourself hired, let's go to work. If you can pull the traffic then I can afford to hire you. If we could turn a couple of my other sites into high ranking sites, we could create a network of unstoppable "authority sites" ... wouldn't that be nice lol (....is that my alarm clock i hear in the background trying to wake me from my dream...)
