Yesterday, shrillary was here in South Carolina to campaign for her presidential bid. While speaking at Allen University, a 1,500 student all black college, she said that the confederate flag should be removed from the grounds of the state capital. The NAACP has had a boycott of the state for several years due to the flag...it used to fly over the capital, but under the american flag. Now it flys on the statehouse grounds at a monument honoring the confederate soldiers who died in the civil war.

I think this was just a political statement by clinton...would she complain about people wearing malcolm X shirts? just curious.

This shows us that instead of actually using facts Hillary Clinton is instead prone to using highly emotional arguments in order to make her agenda more appealing.

you got that right...I still can't believe it is an issue with the naacp either, but it is. They still have a boycott of the state...I think it actually helps the state imo.

I agree with you too. Why not just let this issue die?

I thought this part of the story was weird.

Given that some democrats (murtha, etal) are lining up under Iran's flag. You'd think that she'd take care of that first.

shes supporting the new democratic legislation to take away the presidents powers to act on war....however, she supported it several years ago when it was inacted....sounds like John sKerry, flip flop 101....some dems are even running from this....again, she might be shooting herself in the foot.
