Hello, I am NOT sure this is the right forum or something else, but I think this is SEO related question. Suppose I have two websites web1.com and web2.com My web2.com is older and it was having directory. Now I moved that files and folders and change the configuration according to web1.com I have create also site map for web1.com. I also change the link style with re-write for SEO friendly URL - This is working perfectly. Now my web2.com is having just link that informing that directory is moved on web1.com. But after having experience with Google, I found that my new type created URL are coming in Google with both domains. E.g. www.web1.com/category/page1.html - This is on web1.com working file when you click from Google Search List, it takes user on link page. This is 100% OK. But below www.web2.com/category/page1.html - There is nothing like on this domain as I have removed all the things from web2.com Can you please guide me where I am wrong? Why Google is showing my web1.com url in web2.com?
Hello All, I agree, this might be that its not way to express. Let me explain again: =============== I have two domains web1.com and web2.com web2.com was having some files and I moved these files on web1.com Now when I search in Google, it shows my web1.com URL in web2.com Like: web1.com/category/page1.html Here "category/page1.html" is NOT on web2.com Its only on web1.com as I have moved on web1.com So why Google search result sometime shows me "category/page1.html" with web2.com So what happened when you click web2.com/category/page1.html - it will show you error that page does not exists. I think, now you will get this. Please let me know if you need more understanding.
Yes, You are right. But the main thing is that my old domain was different style of URL. That was with category_id, link_id etc kind of URL. E.g. web2.com/linkdetail.php?link_id=1 But new domain web1.com is different style of URL That is like web1.com/category/page1.html So my old domain is now showing web2.com and page name from web1.com like web2.com/category/page1.html I understand that its little bit confusing but this is true fact.
