Some directories showing sitewide random listings.

In view of SEO, it's good or bad?

Well I suppose there shouldn't be anything bad about, it's like one more backlink to you and like what MH mentioned, it will bring you even more traffic because of more exposure. =)

I don't see anything wrong with it as long as it's not excessive.

Just make sure you are pointing them back to the details pages :)

I've asked this question because I am also doing same thing on my directory and pointing them to link detail pages as suggested by anOn and Richie.

Now the problem is that just think you are (or Search Engines) browsing sports category and random listings is showing sites from directory or/and arts categories.

Will it be a problem ??

You can always just show them on the front page only. However, I don't see a problem with them showing randomly all throughout.

    that's just my .o2

Obviously, homepage links will bring some traffic..
Rarely, visitors will browse the inside categories.

    Exactly ..
One more link to the site (If its with Thumbnail of the site) will give a bit more exposure and can bring some traffic.

And from SEO point of view, it isn't Bad at all if not that good.

Well it certainly can't hurt, but if it's excessive might not necessarily help that much.
