Showing images on archive/tag page?

    Hi,

How do you force wordpress to show images on the tag listing or monthly archive pages? Or, I guess, force it to show the full post rather than an excerpt (not sure if that is what it is doing, but it could be).

    Thanks

if you want to keep using excerpts in the archives, you could use the manual excerpts with images

Maybe if I look at and compare the index and home templates to the archive and category ones

Sorry for the bump but this might be of use to anyone searching for this in future.

    The Solution

Edit the Archives Template File. Find:

    <div class="postContent"><?php the_excerpt('[Read the rest of this entry...]'); ?></div>

    PHP:
    And Replace with:

    <div class="postContent"><?php the_content('[Read the rest of this entry...]'); ?></div>

    PHP:

Try editing search.php in your theme and replacing any reference to the_excerpt() with the_content().
