I was amazed to see 4 ad units on http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ The site was featured in Adsense case studies, but i dont think that enables him to stand out of competition, The site might not even qualify for being a premium publisher, but who knows
if that be the case, its even worse. i dont think the site should be featured anymore as they are just filling the page with ads
I don't think this is a violation. This site has 3 Ad Units and 1 Link Unit. This is acceptable according to the following FAQ: https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=15943&topic=294 BELOW, is the FAQ: Can I place more than one link unit on a page? Please place only one link unit on any content page. This number does not affect the current limit of 3 regular ad units on any page - you may still place up to 3 regular ad units in addition to a single link unit on any content page that complies with our program policies.
Wow, this is a completely new information for me. 3 ad units + 1 link unit is ok? Can others verify (that this is the case since ..)?
Ah, that right column ad rotating in and out between a doubleclick banner and AdSense. So, sometimes that site is legal, sometimes it is not. Just depends what loads in that right column.
Why get excited about this site? NOthing wrong. Yes, you can have 3 regular ad units and 1 link unit on the same page. Then throw in a search and a firefox, and you have them all.
Haha, really pushing the label though. Kinda seems a bit unprofessional to me, but hey whatever earns him more money, I'm sure.
Same goes for www.engadget.com, take a look there, I was just there now and can count 7 ad units and 1 link unit....figure that out?
