Showing 2 ads in a 300x250 box?

How come sometimes 2 ads show up in a 4 space 300x250 box?

Is there a way to encourage this (more relevant content?) Or is it completely up to google?

 

It is completely up to Google. Sometime you will see one ad also.

 

I think it can be done by some codings too!

See the source code, and you can see, how they coded the number of ads to be displayed and some other options like font, style etc.

I'm not sure is this permitted by Google or not...again the site is a very popular one (alexa rank:281) so, this should be a proven trick to format google ads.

ezinearticles does not have a regular adsense account so they can do things that would get us banned.

 

How we can know that they are not using a regular account? Is there any way to understand from the codes ?

 

They have a distinctly different way of showing ads. That's a pretty good indication.
